The Strutt Arms Hotel At The Elephant & Peacock - Belper

I had a lovely Christmas stay at this hotel! The decor is really charming, and the location is pretty ideal for exploring nearby attractions. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help out. I especially enjoyed the fantastic meals, both evening and breakfast - really hit the spot after a festive day!

There were a few hiccups. My first room was noisy due to road traffic, and I had some issues with the shower drain being a bit dirty. Plus, early check-in wasn’t an option, which was a bit frustrating. though, it was a relaxing holiday!

It boasts beautiful, magnificent location short walk to a restaurant, the outskirts of Belper, and Belper. Great-sized rooms complete with large TV, a very comfy bed, for instance. Will be back on our next trip to Belper.

I also appreciated the room's amenities, especially the tea and coffee making facilities, which added a touch of convenience to my mornings. The spacious bath provided a refreshing way to unwind after a long day.

while the spacious rooms and comfortable beds were appreciated, we encountered issues like noisy rooms facing the main road and some cleanliness concerns. the beautiful décor and friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. The nearby landmarks, like the scenic Belper River Gardens, provided great family bonding opportunities. there's potential, but improvements are needed.

We had an amazing stay at the strutt. the staff were friendly and eager to assist with anything we needed. our room was spacious and well-decorated, featuring a large, comfortable bed that made our nights restful. we also enjoyed the delicious cooked breakfast that was offered, which was a pleasant surprise compared to what we had read before. the on-site restaurant appeared to have a fantastic menu, and we saw many guests enjoying their meals in the evening.

The clean, spacious rooms were a joy, and my son loved the warm, inviting atmosphere. With a fantastic curry house on-site and efficient staff like Becky, we felt well looked after. Enjoying time on the sun terrace and exploring nearby landmarks made for perfect family bonding moments. We look forward to returning!

I stayed four nights, and I was shocked at how the room wasn't cleaned even once. No fresh towels or coffee, and we had to use the same mugs. It was frustrating not being able to ask anyone for help.

Very good value overall

The presence of tea and coffee made it easy to unwind in the evenings, and I slept like a baby on the very comfy bed.

Had a fabulous room, No.2, it was super quiet and just what I needed after a long week. The breakfast was excellent, cooked fresh each day and it gave me great energy to start my days right.

The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was a highlight with nice ingredients that tasted great. The room had everything we needed, including tea and coffee, and the extra buffer for road noise worked wonders. Perfect for a relaxing night!

Had a lovely stay with a delicious cooked breakfast and helpful staff who assisted my mother-in-law with her bags. The terrace was perfect for relaxing, and we enjoyed a nice evening at the cozy pub. Just a heads-up, the room could've used a little more attention, but it didn't spoil our experience at all. 😊
